Past
In first grade I was having trouble with subtraction. I didn’t understand the concept of subtraction and I really didn’t understand how to do it. So my teacher pulled me aside to work with me, while the rest of my class had a worksheet. She went through each problem with me. Showing me exactly how to do it. About halfway through the worksheet I began to understand. It became easier to do subtraction and eventually I had come up with my own way to do it. From then on my math was my favorite subject.
Present
Today I have a math class called Concepts 1. Anyone who is taking it can say that the class is very difficult. I am one of those people. That math class is my hardest class this semester, but also my favorite. It is still my favorite, because I get to work with math and numbers. What I learned from this experience is that math is something I’m good at and enjoy, so I’m going to try to get math to be a part of my future.
Future
In my future occupation I plan to work with math. I know that sometimes work might be a little difficult, but I’ll also enjoy it. Like my entire math experiences I have had some trouble, but even trough that math is still my favorite.
